Miró's World

Miró’s World.


Age: 6-9 years old.

An adaptation of the tale “Eyes and stars”

Characters: Narrator, Joan Miró, Eyes, birds, stars, planets, women, stones, trees, animals.

NB: For each scene three different students play the parts (Different Joan Miró for each scene)  Depending on the number of scenes, there are parts for at least 24 students.


Character Objectives:

Joan Miró – He is nice and a little bit childish! He wants to make everything happpy
Characters of Miró’s wold They are when  they appear but happy when Miró paints them. They want to be painted by Miró

Class Preparation:
2. Show the tale “Eyes and stars” presentation.

3.- Divide the group into five students to review and study the script.

Scene 1
Joan Miró is painting fishes, eyes and birds. They go into scenary. Narrator explain the story.

Scene 2
A contryside. Sad flowers, trees and leaves go into scenary . Joan Miró change them to his world. They are happy.
Scene 3
Stones go into scenary, Miró paint them and make them happy

Scene 4
All of the previous carácter go to Paris and look up to the sky. Constellations, planets and stars go down and Miró make them go into his world.

Scene 5
Majorca. Joan Miró find women and children of his world.
Scene 6
All the previous carácter play traditional games.
